The Rockefeller Physics Building is the oldest surviving building on the historic campus of Case Western Reserve. It was a gift from the great philanthropist John D. Rockefeller. History buffs enjoy its early-19th-century brickwork, with special emphasis on the names of prominent physicists etched beneath its roofline. The building lies smack in the middle of campus, which in turn lies downtown, near Q Arena.
