The Cleveland Museum of Art is world-renowned, with 70 galleries to choose from, and more than 40,000 works of art. Free admission allows visitors from all walks of life to behold such masterpieces as Rodin's The Thinker, an ancient bronze sculpture by Praxiteles of Athens, and one of the finest collections of Asian art in the country. The museum's main building is a scenic, Roman-style structure with pillars and a burbling fountain, located in the University Circle neighborhood.
Open Tue., Thurs. and Sat. - Sun. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Wed. and Fri. 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Closed Mon. The museum collections are closed, but exhibitions and regular events are still open to the public.
