The Great Lakes Science Center is a learning center for children and adults centered around three major topics: the environment of the Great Lakes themselves, technology, and science phenomena such as tornadoes and shadows. Its 400+ hands-on exhibits include 200,000-volt static electricity generator, a blimp model that visitors can actually control, and a crushed car that can be lifted off the ground by hand. The museum occupies a funky building in the downtown area, between Browns Stadium and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
