Established in 1882, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has grown into one of the country's premiere zoo, with the largest collection of primates in North America. The zoo also has impressive collections of exotic cats and aquatic creatures, as well as the Reinbergerger Learning Lab, at which visitors can participate in hands-on exhibits about various veterinary practices and even view live animals getting treated in the surgical suite. The zoo occupies over 160 acres in the South Brooklyn neighborhood, in the heart of Cleveland Metro Park.
Open daily 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Early Apr - late Oct: Adults $10; Children (2-11) $6; Children under 2 are free; Early Nov - early Apr: Adults $7; Children (2-11) $5; Children under 2 are free.
